Is a deposit required?

A $50 deposit is required on all reserved trips.  This deposit is required to reserve this date for you.

How do I reserve a trip with Capt. Rick?

In order to reserve a trip, you should call Capt. Rick at 252-342-1513 or e-mail at inshorefishing1@yahoo.com  Capt. Rick will answer any questions you have and reserve a date for you with the required deposit.

What should I bring?

All equipment (rods, bait, ice, etc.) is provided on the charter.  You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.  You should bring a light jacket, and dress according to the weather report.  Polarized sunglasses and sunscreen are always recommended.  You should bring your own snacks and drinks with you.  Bringing your own camera is recommended; however, free pictures can be sent through e-mail.  Coolers are provided on the boat; however, you should bring a cooler to get your fish home.

How many people can come on a charter?

I can take up to four people on a charter.  Two or three people is much more comfortable.  Professional anglers, first-timers, and children are all welcome. 

Will the captain clean my fish?

Captain Rick is glad to clean your catch for you.  Please remember to bring your own cooler to get your fish home.

What is the cancellation policy?

The captain respectfully requests to be notified at least 1 week ahead of time if you must cancel your trip.  If you give at least 1 week notice, your deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks.  Any cancellations within 1 week of the trip will result in a forfeiture of your deposit.  **If the captain must cancel the trip due to inclement weather, your deposit will be returned to you within 2 weeks.
